LINKEDIN just streamlined its look.
Here are some of the changes….
They place more emphasis on the photo – now making it larger, spotlighting it.
So, be sure to make your pic look more like a professional looking head shot.
Another change is they added a contact button just below the photo and brief overview now making it easier to find your contact information which includes your websites, email, twitter handle, and phone number.
Within the grey area they condensed the information displayed giving more visibility to your “summary” – key prime real estate. Now you really want to focus on your summary content to try and entice people to click the contact information button and give you a call. Tell your story….
If you click on the edit button a drop down screen will appear allowing you to ask for recommendation, change the language that your profile is in, share or export your profile to a pdf.
Seems that Linkedin made most of the changes in the top portion of your profile.
And from what I understand there are more changes to take place in the near future – so stay on the lookout and if you see any of these changes take place let me know. You may get them before I do…
